Standing Committees
| Executive Committee |
|
Description: The Executive Committee is comprised of the officers of the WIB and chairs of standing committees. Functions are to communicate with the Chief Elected Officials, direct, task, and evaluate WIB Executive Director and staff, task the standing committees, and set agenda for all WIB meetings.
Membership: David Huston, Chair; K.J. Langlais, Vice Chair; Kathy Shackelford, Secretary; Don Nelson, Treasurer
Meeting Time: Second Tuesday of each month, 8:30 a.m.

| Fiscal Committee |
|
Description: The fiscal committee develops and monitors WIB budget, monitors
general fiscal activities, and is responsible for monitoring and oversight
of non-federal funds.
Membership: Don Nelson, Chair; Steve Christensen; Paul Clay; LaDora

Meeting Time: Second Thursday, 2:00 PM

| Governance Committee |

Description: The Governance Committee meets as needed to develop changes to the WIB bylaws, or to develop written policies as directed by the board.
Membership: Walt Lantzy; Wendell Maddox; Don Nelson; Doug Wood (CEOB member)

| Marketing Committee |

Description: The Marketing Committee develops and oversees the implementation of a marketing plan consistent with the vision statement, mission, and goals of the Board. It also helps to plan the marketing and logistics for the kickoff event.
Membership: Paul Clay, Jerry Leonard; Bill Shipley, Jim Thompson, Lori Trumbo, Chuck Ahner

| Program Performance & Evaluation Committee |

Description: The PP&E Committee is responsible for oversight of the one-stop operator and other elements of the One-Stop service delivery system. Together with the one-stop operator, it reviews the performance standards for providers. The committee is responsible for evaluating the one-stop operator, and developing a chartering process for the one-Stop operator.

| Eligible Training Provider Committee |
|
Description: The ETP Committee assists providers in submitting applications for WIA participation, approve or denies provider certifications and re-certifications, and periodically review provider performance. Much of this committee's work is done by e-mail.
Membership: LaDora Jackson; Walt Lantzy; Lonnie Myklebust, Gina McCullough
Meeting time: By e-mail, no regular face-to-face time scheduled
