JOCO KS Works: Expanded Opportunities is a program funded by Johnson County that provides assists businesses with training and upskilling their current workforce. Eligible businesses may qualify for grants to fund a significant portion of their training and education needs to fill in-demand careers.

In order to be eligible for JOCO KS Works: Expanded Opportunities, you must meet the criteria below. If you have any questions, please call the Johnson County Workforce Center for more information.
Business Eligibility for Training/Educational Funds
Business location is in Johnson County and employees to be trained either live or work in Johnson County
Employees being trained are eligible to work in the U.S.
Business meets one of the following criteria:
Any small businesses with 100 employees or fewer; OR
Any business with 100+ employees that demonstrates COVID impact on the business necessitating the need for training
Funding Awards:
For Biz with 1-50 employees, we reimburse pay 90% of training costs
For Biz with 51-100 employees, we will reimburse 75% of training costs
For Biz over 100 employees, we will reimburse 50% of training costs
Maximum total payments of $25,000 regardless of business size
